How to measure your dog’s neck
Measure around the base of your dog’s neck with a tape measure (if you don’t have one, you can easily print one from https://printable-ruler.net/printable-measuring-tape/ and record the inches or cm measurement adding 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) to your measurement for a comfortable fit.
Please note that as our collars are handmade, sizing may vary slightly and that sizes within the same breed can fluctuate significantly. The typical breeds that appear in our sizing charts are just a guide to expedite your selection process but careful measurements is what will secure a good fit.
Our collars maximum and minimum adjustment holes are measured from the middle of the buckle’s prong to the first and last holes. We suggest that you choose a collar where the neck size of your dog is as close as possible to the distance of the buckle prong to the third (center) adjustment hole.
